About Us
Here at Eastrea Centre we are more than just a village hall, we are the heart of the community. Since The Centre opened in 2013 we have run a full programme of events from Monday to Thursday like slimming world, yoga, quilting and much more.
Our hall has a dedicated committee and trustees which manages the centre, run by local villagers who are always on hand and can service the local communities events. We take pride in our village hall, so that the hirer has the best experience working with our event co-ordinators.
The centre's facilities has a fully working kitchen with the latest appliances to ensure your catering requirements can be fulfilled. In our spacious foyer and entrance we provide a comfortable area with tables and chairs giving a lounge feel to welcome guest.
The meeting rooms are fully equipped for the modern business offering projector screens, audio equipment and free wifi, providing hirers with training and meeting facilities. Our hall has a range of uses from sports to family functions, we can seat 120 persons at any one event providing the tables and chairs to suit your layout requirements.
Our Facilities
Event Hall
Eastrea Village Hall Trust is committed to excellence both as a modern venue space with all the services we provide to our community. Hirers can choose from our popular packages, catering services, or even customise their own events. When you celebrate your special occasion with us, we will accommodate all of your catering needs, with the entire team here to serve you and guide the way to a successful event.
With the ability to set up different table and seating layouts which can be separated into classroom or auditorium style for groups and lectures. The space can hold up to 120 people seated and more standing so please enquire when booking.
Meeting Rooms
Our meeting room is available for one to one and group business meetings, training, classroom and video conferencing with excellent facilities for our hirers. With our drop down projector, plug in audio equipment and free access to the WiFi in our meeting room can be used for the modern flexible business environment.
Modern Kitchen
The village hall has a spacious kitchen with 2 large range ovens, built in microwave ovens, dishwasher, 2 large fridges, 1 large freezer and a washer and dryer, to provide our hirers with a full range of catering equipment. We provide 2 rates to book our kitchen facility based on light to full use of facility. The booking comes with free tea and coffee particularly popular with the small scale events.
Our crockery and cutlery is available to hire and will be charged based on the scale and size of an event but we welcome outside catering contractors by agreement.
Parking
We have a large maintained gravel area at the front and side of the premises including a paved area for disabled parking, giving easier access to the front of the building entrance. With our larger events we can open up a section of the garden to allow for extra vehicles and our local farmer allows the Eastrea Centre hirers to park on farm grounds.

Slimming World
Slimming World truly is the club that cares. We promise every member that they’ll be treated with genuine warmth and respect, and they’ll have access to a support system like no other, offering a positive approach and real empathy and understanding throughout their weight loss journey.

Painting Group
The Eastrea Painting Group was established four years ago, on the ambition of two long serving committee members involved in the building of the Eastrea centre (the late) Noreen Smith & Pete Sennett, so it is fitting that we meet in the lovely new hall.
We welcome all, even if you have never painted before but would like to try so come along and join the group.

Yoga
The Eastrea Centre Yoga Class started in 2013 and has remained a popular class ever since. It is a branch of Stamford Yoga Ltd and is led by Marcus Parr who has been teaching professionally in the Peterborough area since 2000.
The class is open to all levels and is warm, light-hearted and very friendly. Beginners are always welcome to attend and will be well looked after. There is a different theme each week to keep things interesting such as Classical Yoga, Yoga For Stress Relief, Yoga For Abs, Yoga For Flexibility, Power Yoga, and Yoga With The Chair.

Ju-Jitsu
Are you looking for training that combines practical self-defense and
traditional martial arts techniques?
That’s what the Fenland Ju-Jitsu Academy is all about.
You’ll learn fundamentals that work around differences in size and
strength, combining throwing, striking, kicking, blocking, and joint
locks. It is a modern traditional style of Japanese Ju-Jitsu that is
suitable for women, men and children of all sizes and physical
abilities!

Quilting
We love working with this vendor to make sure your wedding or special event is as memorable as can be. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
